The world Bank Report was only meant as a reference for the last bullet point recommendation. (as it stands it looks like for a complete list of recommendations the reader should refer to the report.)
secondly, it was recommended during the discussions that a moritorium should be issued by Government, barring complete transfer of land purchased in unoccuppied area (which were prior to displacement occupied) pending complete return of the popullation including those in transit sites.
There was this recommendation that the land policy be formulated/fast tracked and that lawsrelating to the same be popularised.
The action point which spellsout the use of relatives is misunderstood under the intergenerational transmission of war knowledge. Our research was to findout whether knowledge about the recent war is being passed on from one generation to another in particular mother to child. We also found out that children get information from other source not only mothers. We don’t undermind the fact that this information is transmitted through the social ecological system. Our concern is about the psychological wellbeing of the family and the child, since this information affects the mental health of the people involve and in the long run the peace process. Therefore, we prefer that this action point is changed to establishing a continuous psychosocial and psychological support for the family.Thank you.
